Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Website.sg, operated by Website.sg, a company registered in Singapore. By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Website.sg, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

  • Free Plan: Website with subdomain (yourname.website.sg), templates, contact form, WhatsApp widget, SEO tools, and newsletter collection
  • Pro Plan ($19/month): Everything in Free, plus custom domain, appointment booking, Stripe payment integration, blog, and badge removal

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Website.sg to:

  • Publish content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Engage in any activity that could harm, disable, or overburden our infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates Singapore law or applicable international laws

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

5. Content Ownership

  • Your content: You retain full ownership of all content you create on Website.sg
  • Our platform: Website.sg, including its templates, code, design, and branding, is our intellectual property
  • Licence to us: By publishing content on our platform, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service

6. Payments and Billing

  • Pro plan subscriptions are billed monthly at $19 SGD
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing date
  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

7. Custom Domains

  • Custom domain connection is available on the Pro plan
  • You are responsible for purchasing and maintaining your domain name
  • If you downgrade to the Free plan, your custom domain will be disconnected

8. Booking and Payment Features

  • Booking and payment features are provided via Stripe Connect
  • We do not take a platform fee on booking payments — 100% goes to you (minus Stripe processing fee)
  • Disputes between you and your customers are your responsibility to resolve

9. Uptime and Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for temporary downtime due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

10. Termination

  • By you: You can delete your account at any time. All your data will be permanently deleted.
  • By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • Website.sg is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
